KET-L Recovery Truck

Notes: This Russian vehicle is based on an updated Ural-375D chassis. The KET-L may tow vehicles of up to 5 tons cross-country, or 10 tons on hard roads. The KET-L has two winches; the one in the rear may pull 15 tons, and the one at the front may pull 5 tons. The KET-L may recover vehicles up to 13.5 tons without bracing, but the anchor plate must be used to recover heavier vehicles (up to the limits of its crane and combined winches). Instead of a tow hook, the KET-L has a jib crane with a capacity of 1.5 tons at a reach of 2.4 meters. Other equipment carried by the KET-L includes a floodlight, two sections of timber for traction during recovery operations, a pulley block, two fire extinguishers, an acetylene cutting torch, and a set of basic, wheeled vehicle tools, and excavating tools.
